<p>This is a quick post about my experiences upgrading to the newly released iPhone 1.1.3.</p>
<p>20:25 – Found a direct download link from <a href=”http://www.iphonematters.com/article/iphone_update_download_link_234/#When:19:55:00Z&#8221; target=”_blank”>iPhone Matters</a>. The link from iTunes isn’t working, so thanks guys. It’s a 162mb download.</p>
<p>20:35 – The download has completed. I have no ideas how to open the update!!!</p>
<p>20:38 – Ah, pressing Option on the iPhone screen within iTunes brings up a browse windows. I’ve selected the update.  Here goes…</p>
<p>20:40 – Bugger!!! The iPhone cannot be updated. Let’s try again.</p>
<p>20:43 – ‘Updating iPhone software'</p>
<p>20:44 – Progress bar now, looking better… About 50% done…</p>
<p>20:45 – Progress bar at 75% and Apple logo on my iPhone.</p>
<p>20:45 – ‘Verifying updated iPhone software’.</p>
<p>20:46 – ‘Updating iPhone firmware’.</p>
<p>20:47 – The fans on the MPB are working overtime for some reason, but still got the ‘Updating iPhone firmware’ status message.</p>
<p>20:49 – Woo!!!</p>
