I’ve now managed to find a way of exporting my old tumblr.com site and into WordPress. Thanks to http://benapps.net/ (which was originally found on http://haochen.me/tumblr) for the service.

I was looking back through some of the older posts that were now back in WordPress, and I noticed that some posts were still missing. Then I remembered that I had started to manually migrate from my old WordPress site to RapidWeaver (another Mac web designed product).
So after a copy and pasting session (because there doesn’t appear to be a way of importing a blog from RapidWeaver to wordPress), all the blog enteries should now be in main WordPress blog.
I need to do some work on the formatting of the copied and pasted entries, and I am sure that’ll get around to it a somepoint…
The question now is, do I import my Tumblr site in too ?

I have now copied and pasted my old iWeb site back into WordPress. Because of this, some of the formatting, links and pictures have disappeared. As I find the problems, I will fix this, so please be patient!
If you see thing a little bit screwy, please let me know.

You may have noticed that all of a sudden, there were a load of new posts that suddenly appeared on the site. I’ve just imported all the posts from another blog.

So, I am at Gymnastics, waiting for Rhys, checking Facebook. The I see that Steve has set up a new blog, so I thought I would have another crack at blogging.
I tried to register a blog with WordPress (why not!), but it said that the username already existed! It’s my old blog from two years ago!
Time to resurect the old blog me thinks…

I’ve used various blogging tools (both online & offline), including Tumblr, WordPress & RapidWeaver, but now we’ve got Ilife 09 and iWeb seems to be much better than the old version of iWeb, I’ll start to consolidate everything back to here, which is the continueation of the process I started at the end of last year.
Expect more updates (ever though they might be old ones).
